For Authors

The Wake Forest Law Review agrees with other prominent journals that legal scholarship benefits from brevity.

Accordingly, the Wake Forest Law Review has a strong preference for articles between 15,000 and 30,000 words (including footnotes), believing this is an effective length for many articles.

The Wake Forest Law Review invites the submission of unsolicited manuscripts either through Scholastica or e-mail to the Senior Articles Editor (keidh24@wfu.edu). Also, please attach a cover letter describing the article and indicate why it should be published by the Wake Forest Law Review. When an author submits an article via e-mail, the Wake Forest Law Review will contact the author via e-mail, unless the author requests otherwise.
